The CST doctrine of human dignity strikes a balance between the value of the individual and the value of the community because it is based on the acknowledgement that every human is made in the likeness of God. No one can effectively eradicate a person's intrinsic human dign
ity. This human dignity is considered a gift to all people, whether they are sages or unrighteous, detained or independent, influential or impoverished (Aberdeen, 2018). Furthermore, the CST doctrine of the common good balances the value of the individual with the significance of the community, since this common good is attained when individuals come together to enhance the well-being of humans in the community as well as around the globe. Individual rights to local resources and personal belongings must be aligned with the requirements of the oppressed and underprivileged (McGibbon & Lukeman, 2019).

This aspect of human dignity is frequently alluded to as the core of human family unitedness (Guitián & Sison, 2022).

These close collaborations facilitate the common good. As a founding concept, the common good is integrally associated with human dignity and also consequences in solidarity. Since living beings are social creatures, individual liberties must always be respected in an attempt to promote the common good (McGibbon & Lukeman, 2019).
