Problem Summary and Research Purpose
Lack of quality in public healthcare facilities has become major problem in healthcare industry of the world, mainly in developing and underdeveloped countries. As suggested by Alhassan et al. (2015), insufficient human resources and low funding make it difficult to improve quality. There are many issues, which act as accelerator of low quality such as waiting time and untrained service providers. As mentioned by Hemmati, Mahmoudi, Dabbaghi, Fatehi and Rezazadeh (2018), long queues to seek services, stressed and tired service providers and lack of basic resources such as availability of bed result in dissatisfaction in patients. This acts as a trademark for low quality of healthcare services.
Literature Review
Qualitative Article 1:
As suggested by Manzi et al. (2014), despite of provisions taken by WHO to improve the quality of care provided to the children under the age of five. The provisions do not show any drastic effects due to lack of skilled workers. Clinical mentorship helps in training workers to provide quality services. This article is valid as it consists of latest data. The in-text citations are present and it is peer-reviewed. The article suggests the reason behind low quality services. Authors recommend implementation of mentoring and enhanced supervisions at healthcare.
Qualitative Article 2:
As suggested by Kanamori et al. (2015), good management is necessary in providing the quality healthcare facilities. Despite of lack of resources and funding, managing the given resources and motivation of workers gives the positive review. This article is valid as it...
