Tracking: It is described to be the use of the hardware and software systems, which are used to search the data at any given point of time. Through the hardware and software mechanisms, all the data can be tracked based on their relevance. On a broader spectrum data tracking allows more efficient use of the data storage system. Data is collected by various websites and other portals over the internet and even in a manual environment (Lemieux, 2017). Data tracking is based on analyzing and promoting whenever stored data in the system is used more than once. A prevalent example of this can be the auto-fill system and online advertising.
