Quality improvement and legislation have both negative and positive impacts when employed during a strategic planning process. Some of the challenges which can be met in this case can be associated with the inability to track the progress of the strategic plan(Cassidy, 2016). This occurs since most of thefirmsallowthe use of spreadsheets to track a strategic planning process yet it is a process only suitable between an employee and the manager and leaves other stakeholders and employees out of the picture.

Another challenge that may also be faced by the improvement measure and legislation is the possibility of poor goal setting. The issue can be a result of scarce resources which may bemaximizedto satisfy large and complex strategic plans. Inthe long run, there is serious confusion created within departments and the firm at large(Kerzner, 2019).Other issuesthat may be brought aboutwhen applyinglegislation and quality improvementare people not connecting to the strategic plan due to its complexity, limited time frame, and complex order of routine.

One can therefore adopt various tips to try and help curb the various issues which are related to legislation and improvement measure. A solution can be adopting goal-setting methodologies which ensure there is an established and smart way of approach goals. Another solution is adapting strategy execution platforms that ensure alignment, transparency, collaboration, and manageability. Lastly, the employees should also have a role to play in the strategic plan formation and should be viewed as part of the process towards a firm's success.

Federal legislation can allow each state to adopt full practice authority and mandate each United States healthcare organization create human resource utilization techniques. Focus on promoting health care accessibility, patient safety and improved decision-making. In retrospect internal and external stakeholders guide strategies in total quality improvement.

Additionally, as manager of a healthcare organization I would meet the need of staffing shortages by increasing current staff leadership capabilities. I advocate for educational or training activities on a consistent basis to improve employee competencies. Thus, staffing shortages can be better managed by those who perform at highly skilled levels. A team of very compassionate yet committed, initiative-taking and well-organized individuals. Ethics, morality, and leadership integrity in the delivery of health care is needed today more than ever. Therefore, strategic planning is defined by leadership qualities, and we must lead by example.
