1. ‘The human resources department can make or break a company [during a crisis]’ (The Economist, March 24th 2020.)
In your report you should:
a.Explain the current human resources management of businesses from ONE sector. There is a list of sectors provided below. Choose a business that operates in ONE only. For example, Google is a company from the IT services sector.
b.Analyse the relationship between human resources theory and real-life practice.
c.Provide at least TWO recommendations for how different businesses might be able to better deal with unexpected and significant crisis’.
First, you must identify ONE medium/ large company which has a dedicated Human Resource Management function.
Second, you must conduct research on the topic through appropriately credible, varied and insightful sources.
Third, use your research material to support your claims in your report.
Fourth, you must provide recommendations based on your research and linked clearly to the issues you have explored in the report.
Fifth, you must state the word count of the main body of your report.
