1. Culture of an organisation plays a vital role in the working lives of the employees. An organisation with an ethical organisational culture is more likely to be unique and will have
a set of values and beliefs thus, motivating the employees to be productive and innovative in the tasks they undertake. Positive workplace culture is likely to improve employee satisfaction leading to employee retention (Nusari et al., 2018). However, a negative organisational culture will have an adverse impact on the work psyche of the employee thus adversely affecting their performance and increased employee turnover rate.
2. Objectives in a strategic plan differs from the objectives in an operational plan primarily on the basis of time frame. Objectives in an operational plan are oriented towards achieving the short-term goals of the organisation while objectives of a strategic plan are oriented towards achieving the long-term goals of the business organisation.
3. In order to ensure that the staffing profile of an organisation meets its budgetary requirements it is essential to list the following:
· The skill set of the staff
· The experience of the staff
· Organisational structure
· The balance between the full-time employees and the part-time employees
4. Human resource plan of an organisation is a document prepared after human resource planning process, which specifies the current and future human resource needs of the organisation to achieve the desired goals. This serves as a link between the management of human resources and the overall strategic plans of the business organisation (Goodin & Davis-Ngatai, 2018). This includes a systematic review of the human resource requirements to ensure that there are sufficient human resources available with the required skill sets to meet the goals and objectives of the business organisation.
5. The essential aims of human resource planning are:
· To ensure that there is no shortage or surplus of manpower
· To ensure a best fit within the skill set of the employees and requirements of the job available
· To forecast labour demands and to analyse the present labour
· Balancing the labour demand within an organisation
· Ensures right distribution of manpower within the business organisation
