Before you begin, you will need to choose a college and a program. If you are unsure you will need to make a decision for the sake of this CPT. Your college portfolio will include the following three components: 1 Statement of Purpose 2 days 2 An e-mail to Dean of Admissions/Program Co-ordinator to your program (your Statement of Purpose will be attached) 1.5 days 3 Creative Component – 3 symbols of your future. (your Creative Component will be attached to the email above) **consider Video interview component 1.5 days The Breakdown 1. Statement of Purpose (refer to examples below) 4 Paragraphs Paragraph 1 Paragraph 2 Paragraph 3 Paragraph 4 Introduce yourself Include program of study and school/ institution Include why you’d like to study there Include why the subject area is of interest to you *Anecdotal story * This is a personal story (with meaning) that explains why you want to advance your field of study / education in this program.
