Many people believe Jeff Bezos and Amazon changed the shopping game when they opened, allowing people to shop from the comfort of their own home was unheard of at the time and now something we take for granted (Amazon History Citation). Even though Amazon is touted for their logistical prowess other levels of the company have issues, mainly their warehouse employees. The working conditions of these employees are suboptimal especially within three main systems. The warehouse conditions, especially with inventory and shipping could use work, the human resources systems for these employees especially in regards to worker compensation and policy not being standardized need improvement, and the employment procedures especially in regards to public opinion, the application process and employment needs have been found lacking (Citation). Throughout this presentation a deeper look will be taken into each of these systems, and the effect correcting them would have on Amazon long term. A look will also be taken into how Amazon recruits, develops, and maintains their human resources all of this will be linked back and connected within a christian worldview.
