Throughout the term, you will be asked to report on various elements of victimology by completing a journal assignment that addresses various scenarios, cases, essays, and research. When you name your journal assignment please use the provided title and follow the instructions on what to include in your original assignment.


Research the internet and source two cases, articles, or resources that address the link between violence in society and the media. Discuss the factors that you feel advanced the situation and how the influences you see being reflected in your own community, specifically how the community responds to the offenders and victims in the case.
