Discuss. A minimum of four (4) academic/scholarly references is required for a pass grade. The information may come from either electronic journal articles or e-books. Use WSU Library to find your information. Should you wish to be considered for higher grades, evidence of additional reading is required. The research you have used will be well integrated into the essay with the resources clearly acknowledged (in-text citations) and listed in the Reference List using WSU Harvard Style Referencing. The criteria contained in the assessment marking guide (below) provides further guidelines for the completion of this assessment. Furthermore, you were provided with one-on-one feedback during your Week 4 Tutorial class on your Part A submission. It is expected that you use this feedback in the preparation and presentation of your essay. Marketing is a management function, which helps to attract potential customers to develop interest in the products or services offered by the org
anization. Market consists of buyers at actual and potential level. According to Malgieri (2021) marketing involves managerial process at social level so that individuals can buy the products according to their need, or exchange them for a value. It is also a persuasive form of communication, which helps in congruence of psychological mechanism so that marketing campaigns can lead to success. The consumer’s behavioural intentions are impacted by communication between brand and consumer. It gets influenced by marketing activities to generate the favourable attitude of the consumer for the product and ensure high purchases by them. Customer is the king and until the unmet needs of customers are satisfied companies cannot grow. To serve this they invest in research and development, adopt innovative work culture and transform their strategies to deliver promises. Once the solution for their requirements is developed it is necessary to spread awareness so that they can satisfy those needs and wants. Marketing practice is governed by some principles so that demands of the customers can be satisfied and maximum possible results can be achieved.
There are 7 Principles of marketing:
Product: Customers look product as the ultimate solution to solve their requirement. Before using it they try to find it out that whether it is right product for them or not. For this they try to connect with other buyers who are already using it or look for reviews who have used it. Being a digital user they have access to information platforms like social media, consumer forums, Instagram, Youtube etc to gather information for their decision-making. They also compare the features of the product with that any substitute available in the market so they get value for money.
Price: They are most crucial part of product because they are responsible for deciding the sales up to some extent. Affordable prices and quality helps in pitching the features of the product effectively. As indicated by Sharma (2021) at times it is required by the company to lower the prices or combine it with some promotional offers to increase the sales. For instance, middle income group individual will not buy luxury product at one go but they might re-consider their purchasing decisions if any attractive offer is combined with the price of the product they want.
