b) The wave is uniform, travels in the x3direction, and the electric field is circularly polarized in the (x1, x2) plane.
c) The wave is evanescent, with its phase vector in the x3direction, its attenuation vector in the x2direction, and the electric field is linearly polarized along the x1axis.
Show that in the first case only the electric field and the magnetic field are orthogonal complex vectors. Show that also in the second case the corresponding vectors in the time domain are orthogonal at any instant.
