Introduction
McDonald’s is a fast food company which is based in America. It is considered one of the fast growing, most profitable and reputed company not in the local but also in the global market. Along with this, it should also be noted down that, the company was founded in 1940 and is now a leading global retailer in terms of food service. More than 32000 restaurants are owned by the company which is currently operating in 130 countries. The company is offering a range of food and beverage products in the market to the customers. The company is generating highest level of profit and revenue in the market because; the demand for the products of McDonald’s is increasing at a higher pace. However, various employee issues are faced by the organization, and how the company is overcoming those challenges is discussed below.
Overview of Competitive Challenge
Consumers are changing their preferences regarding foods and they tend to avoid oily foods. Thus, there is a higher requirement for changing their brand's image and must focus on providing more concern towards providing benefits to health. The marketplace has also become very competitive due to the presence of various competitors such as Burger King, KFC, and Subway. The economies around the world are also changing at a higher pace which provides various business opportunities. However, the brand needs to bring an integrated marketing strategy and focus on bringing efficiency in employee performance for capturing the opportunities.
Employee Issues
The issues that are faced by McDonald’s regarding the employees are the lack of needed skills along with the communication, lack of motivation as well as the approach of the higher authorities towards the employees, meeting the diverse training needs.

Regarding McDonald, there are some issues regarding the lack of skills of the employees that are evident in some places (Cajander&Reiman, 2019).
