Honeybees and farmers are so important because they both play a crucial part when it comes down to pollinating, producing honey, increasing crop production, and providing food for people. There are approximately 20,000 different types of bee species in the world, but about two trillion honeybees worldwide (How Many Species of Native Bees Are in the United States? | U.S. Geological Survey, n.d. ). These black and yellow flying insects are essential, providing 15 to 30 percent of food production, and are usually managed in farms or glasshouses (Kremen et al., 2002). Each honeybee hive contains about 10 to 60 thousand bees in a single hive and is a highly valued resource. They help farmers produce honey and pollinate crops. As plant pollinators, they are doing their job. According to estimates, honey and beeswax together are worth 10 to 20 times as much as this agricultural advantage to bees. Bee pollination adds about $15 billion to crops. Bees are like dollar bills flying over American crops (Ellis A, et al., 2018). According to new research, Farmers do more than just drive a tractor and make money. Farmers work strategically, from protecting their finances to planning what crops they will grow and sell to the market at the correct precise time by tracking weather reports and disease outbreaks (Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers : Occupational Outlook Handbook: : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2022). In addition, there are many types of farmers that specialize more in raising crop production, livestock, raw material, and beekeeping. However, some companies also specialize in traditional agricultural activities, such as crop harvesting, slaughterhouses, and vineyards attached to wine houses, these companies also hire workers through an employment agency to carry out these farming activities (C. L. Kling & Mackie, 2019, pp. 83–84). Honeybees and farmers have always been best friends because they have been known to increase crop yield worldwide and much more. Over the years, colony collapse disorder also known as CCD has become a grown concern for farmers. Unfortunately, researchers have shown that honeybees have gone down in size due to diseases, parasites, pesticides, and socioeconomic factors which can come in all types of combinations. The absence of dead bees in the hives of dead colonies was more likely to be reported by large farm beekeepers. This suggests that a highly contagious condition may be the cause of this symptom. This is a problem exacerbated by the overcrowded conditions that commercial apiaries encounter when moving colonies to and from pollinating or honey-producing areas. It is also necessary to consider that diets may be incomplete due to the monoculture conditions they often have to live in. These factors also contribute to the problem of colony collapse disorder (vanEngelsdorp et al., 2008). 3 The population of honeybees has been decreasing all over the world and has had a significant decline in nations such as Europe and North America (Goulson et al., 2015). Furthermore, if bees become extinct, we could lose a lot of nutritious fruits like berries and vegetables or become even more expensive to the point that only a few people could afford them (Nabhan G.
