Introduction
The project management is the process of initiating, planning, executing as well as controlling and closing the collaboration work of the team. The process of project management helps in fulfilling the project objective. In this report, we are
taking the scenario of implementing IoT in the healthcare organization (Hajj and Zraunig, 2018). The main reason in implementing IoT in healthcare is to make better quality of heath services in least price. The main objective of this report is to develop project plan for the healthcare organization by making feasibility analysis like stakeholders, project scope, technical requirements and prepare project budget and time scheduling so that the project can be prepared in these constraints.
Project Background
In today’s healthcare service, the main area of concern for the patients is unavailability of doctors in the remote areas and the treatment concern for the critical diseases. With the implementation of IoT, the patient monitoring will become easy for the doctors as they can be monitored even when the patient is at home. The wireless devices such as blood pressure, heart rate monitoring system, glucometer can be turned to monitor patient’s health continuously so that these readings can be monitored by the physician and the emergency services can be provided at the time of any happening (Dewangan and Mishra, 2018).
Problem Statement
The main problem in the healthcare scenario is that it becomes difficult for the physician to monitor the patient’s details every time. Therefore, IoT becomes miracle in that case.
Project Objective
The main objective of the project is to implement IoT in the healthcare organization is to provide more interaction between physician and the patient so that the patient can be monitored on regular basis by the physician without making visit to the hospital.
Project Deliverable
The project deliverable includes the implementation of full-fledged sensors, RFID technology with IoT to the healthcare organization. All the documentation and sign offs will be provided to the management.
Requirement Elicitation
The main techniques used for requirement elicitation are as following:
Interviews – All the stakeholders and the patients are interviewed for gathering system requirements. These interview questions are prepared in advance so that without taking much time, a fruitful result can be obtained in minimum time.
Analyzing Existing Documents – Our team members will be appointed at the healthcare’s organization premises so that he can easily observe all documentation, what are the formalities while monitoring a patient.
Observing a User – The user will be observed in order to get the full grasp on how the user interacts with the system when a patient visit at the hospital (Eid, 2015).
