For this activity, choose a peer-reviewed article to review. Search for an article related to bulimia and risk factors for eating disorders. Article is attached, or use another source that contains peer-reviewed articles. This is a research article summarizes the risk factors and prevalence associated with the Bul
imia Nervosa (BN) an eating disorder by conducting an experimental study among the youth by considering both the gender and the ethnicity. The most common symptoms observed among the people suffering with BN includes psychological, physical and social and in some cases, this increases the risk of mortality [1]. It is most commonly observed among the adults and mostly the incidence rate of BN is high in females and ethnicity. The most commonly associated risk factors of BN are depression, anxiety, stress, somatic symptoms and sensation seeking. The study was conducted by survey among the eligible students from the New Haven (CT) public school system for a period of 2 years and found the increased incidence rate of BN was observed in urban ethnic minority adults and dropouts and found female are mostly likely affected with BN [1].
