Program Identified
The program that is identified the for the purpose of the evaluation is the problems of the STEM and the measures that will be taken for determining the skills of the problem solving and the creativity among the students. The evaluation of the programs will be based on the theoretical understanding and contextual application of those theories in the project and the purpose of the evaluation. The program that will be considered for this will effectively demonstrate the facets of learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics along with the aspects of Computer Science because it widely developed the skills of problem solving and the creativity among the students. This is expressed as a form of a unique teaching and learning approach that centres around the individual students learning styles and interest in the Science and Technology.
Population Served
The population that will be focused on for this particular evaluation is the high school students and the students form all the department. It is effective to understand that the requirements of science and technology is considerably growing and in the near future the entire academic scenario will be based on the understanding of the science and technology. Not only theoretical aspects need to be assessed but the scientific understanding of every subject will provide an opportunity for the future development and the career prospects of the individuals. The information technology and the engineering or the more dominated scenario in the present context which will have a consistent aspect on the present scenario. The high school students will benefit more from these programs and they can effectively pursue their careers based on the prospect that they learn from the particular evaluation program.
Current Assessment Practices
The current assessment practices for the students in the program is normally the formal assessment and the informal assessment that the student has to go through. The formal assessment requires the effective considerations of the theoretical understanding that the student had acquired in terms of the learning outcomes in the classes. While the information requires the analysis of the students’ learning outcomes with the help of objective questions and has been contemplated to understand the effectiveness of the students learning process (Reeves et al., 2019). However, the practical understanding of the student needs to be essays on the basis of their learning pattern and how effectively they can implement their theoretical approach in the real-life context.
This can be evaluated with the effective implementation of the theoretical as well as practical analysis by effectively developing the incorporation of Science and Technology.
