Sky City Entertainment is an enormous entertainment group with multiple casinos, restaurants and ho
tels. As a result there is a constant need of talented individuals in the various outlets of the group. In order to make sure that the best talents are recruited for the various positions in the group, we propose the following recruitment plan.
1- Clear Job description
The first step in the recruitment plan is to come up with a clear and effective description for the job in order to convey the requirements of the company clearly (Mueller & Baum, 2011).
We propose a two-step description. The first step would involve a short key description that highlights main points- job title, position location and name. This would invite interested candidates to look for details. Uninterested candidates can be screened off in this first step.
The second step description would include, Job Title, Company information, Job description and Requirements and the application process.
2- Effective advertisement tools
Job advertisements are effective only so long as they reach the public (Russo, Gorter & Schettkat, 2001). Sky City Entertainment uses two methods, recruitment agencies and company portal for advertising its open job position. This however has limited scope.
