Customer 2. Supplier Read the following scenarios relating to the potential customer and supplier relationship. After reading this scenario you will need to conduct research on business contracts. After you are familiar with legal requirements for business contracts you will prepare your report. You will need to address the following questions and submit your responses in a professional report attached with your prepared contracts (2) based on the given scenario. Your report must be a professionally prepared document. Use the Font style ‘Times New Roman’ and size 12. A minimum of 500 words is expected though you should aim for 1000 words. Your contracts are not included in this word count - of which forms an additional/separate document. The 2 scenarios however can be included into the one report – just ensure that you stipulate what actions you took for which scenario – customer vs supplier. All questions of the task must be addressed in detail. PAX café offers catering as a service for the surrounding offices and other businesses. A new accounting firm (ABC Accounting Inc) has opened near your café and the Personal assistant (PA) of the accounting firm came into the cafe to inquire if you offer office catering. As this is one of the services you offer. You will need to commence the process of negotiating a business to business contract for supply of goods and services. Using the ideas and information you have learnt throughout this unit, develop an ‘Action Plan ‘in the form of a professional report. Your report is a full outline on the steps you took to: 1. Initiating, the agreement 2. Negotiating contracts 3. How you will maintain your new business relationship with ABC Accounting Inc. 4. Finally, a completed contract based on the above scenario and your research. Your ‘ACTION PLAN’ /Report needs to include the following: What goods and services will be provide/purchased and at what price? Names of all parties involved, and dates commenced to and from. As head chef of the PAX café it is role to arrange and establish a meeting with this new supplier regarding your wholesale gluten free products. Follow the similar process from part B except you create a separate contract document between ‘Pax Café and your new supplier ‘Gluten Muten’Scenario Part B The accounting firm have staff that have special dietary requirements. The negotiation must first explain to our customer what kind of service we provide and how we will provide the best quality food and customer service for his business. In this part, we must:
1. Speak clearly and accurately. One person should not confuse others. S
peech and behavior are one of the biggest threats to negotiations (Garayoa, Vitas, Díez-Leturia and García-Jalón, 2011). Do not use derogatory or obscene remarks to anyone.
2. Take time to discuss issues with each other. Make sure you are deciding on a win-win situation for everyone. Don't delay some discussion as well as make too long conversation. Too much persuasion and pleading leads to a big zero, so no outcome can be drawn.
3. Don't ask for things you can't do yourself. Don't quote something just for it. It must be somewhat practical in his method. Don't request irrational discounts (Harrison, Simpson and Kaler, 2005). Be meaningful. It’s good to consider your individual interests, nevertheless don’t get angry about it. If you need to buy something, keep in mind that the owner of store must also make money.
4. Listen to what others are saying. Also consider their interests and needs. Don't ask for anything that is detrimental to second party. Don't jump to the conclusion, and don't interfere when others are talking.
5. An effective complaint system: It’s vital to keep consumers satisfied even in special circumstances where money is spent (Iqbal, 2016). Whether you like it or not, word of mouth will happen. Unfortunately, negative innovative spreads are faster than optimistic news.
In the hotel business, one of the most important things to make the business run smoothly is to sign good contracts and conduct good negotiations, because this will help our operations and cloud technology bring the greatest benefits to both parties (Tambe, 2002). Serve customers with quality service and quality food and meet customer expectations (Taylor, 2005). For third party, it is best to symbol a contract as well as have something in white and black because that no corpse will flinch in the future. It is best to sign the agreement in the presence of both parties to increase transparency. After each discussion and negotiation, in the workplace, emails or meeting minutes must be distributed among all team members so that everyone can clearly see the same photo (Therkelsen, 2015).

Avoid conflicts by solving positive and negative problems • Ensure mutual satisfaction when solving problems • Participate in social interaction • Consider offering gifts within an ethical framework • Today, it takes a lot of energy and time to establish a better, strong and long term business relationship. They are an essential element of success; nevertheless people don’t seem to need to work. Reminder: If you don't have dedicated, consistent work, you won't build lasting business relationships or develop them (Velichko, 2019). Our business network must be a selective and qualified team that we can rely on, attract as well as rely on to provide support, insight and guidance. We must find balance among being a giver moreover a receiver. We cannot just give and accept, we want both of this.
