Assessment 1 requires you to create personal autobiography / profile, to synthesise your experiences with visual and performing arts throughout your life. You will use the four knowledge processes outlined by Ryan and Healy (2009) to structure your assignment. This assignment will require you to collate ten significant and varied real experiences in the arts that have influenced your life and learning. You will provide a brief description of each experience and explain how and what the long-term effect has been with regard to the four knowledge processes. Finally, thinking about your professional practice, what are the strengths you bring and the implications for choices you make in designing learning environments that accommodate student wellbeing and safety, pedagogical approaches, assessment and documentation.
