Executive summary
Initially the seven seed roaster was born in year 2007 for roasting coffee for Brother Baba Budan and later emerged as café roaster model itself. The core simple target of the business was to directly source with the exploration of best brewing practices over the globe. Later, while merged as independent business, it established head quarters in year 2016 which was a dedicated roaster. Since then, rapid growth has been observed in seven seeds roaster that
lead to rise in demand as well due to their excellence and services in industry has been growing. However, it is growing rapidly but had maintained the sustainability principles roots that guides their decisions associated with the business. As, the demand raise, there has been expansion need and now a new office for same needs to be opened in Canberra. To do so, there needs to appoint a project manager to carry out overall project operation while ensuring no compromise as well as effective and timely delivery of project. At the end, success or failure of this project would depend on the way project is managed as well as the process flow during lifecycle of project. New office opening itself is a complex project because many stakeholder, parties as well as uncertainties are associated. There are risks, logistics, variation in expectation as well as need of required skill set to carry out project successfully while maintain the quality similar to the existing office intact. A new office to be totally identical with existing one in operations is going to have several uncertainties. This project proposal details out the project manager role throughout the project lifecycle along with giving a clear picture of the project framework, methodologies along with the analysis which is required from the beginning to end to project closure. Further, evaluation is done for the project so as to maintain the efficiency and efficacy. For opening up a new office for seven seeds roasters in Canberra, project manager would lead project for successful project completion in stipulated time and budget.

Seven seeds Roaster established in year 2007 is an organization that works on brewing and Roasting coffee beans. The organization has been expanding since then and as per need of further expansion, there is need to open new office at Canberra. The project here studies the opening of new office of Seven seeds Roaster in Canberra that will have similar operations and activity as the parent office. The scope of project extends from selection of suitable location to establishment and creation of new office. The key benefits attained from opening this office at Canberra will also include lowering down of the cost involved in transport along with increasing reach to more and more customers to fetch more business ultimately.
Project proposal herein involves location finalization, completion of the legal formalities involved in opening new office, setting up identical office, moving in furniture as well as required equipment, final finishing of place and handover of the project to management. There is need of one dedicated person who will handle the overall process and flow of project activities from beginning to the closing of project known as Project Manager. He or she will consider the major deliverables in the project life cycle which are in depth study of the existing office followed by planning, budgeting, selecting the appropriate location, completion of legal formalities, setting up office, evaluation of new office followed by delivering it to the management finally. Post implementation review is also included in the scope of project wherein any changes or feedbacks from client is incorporated post the delivery of final project before closing it out. Budget for the project is $3, 00,000 however budgeting and cost analysis is excluded from scope of this project and is done by the finance team. The duration for this project is 6 moths only.
