The aim of this assessment is to support the development of these skills as well as your overall academic writing skills. The feedback you receive on this assessment will be used to improve your performance and confidence in completing Assessment 3 (the Annotated Bibliography) Online Academic Writing Evaluation (AWE) test, which is conducted in Weeks 1-2, will have provided an indication of your current academic writing skills and areas to improve. Read the three academic articles listed below and summarise their authors' main arguments in approx. 300 words each (altogether, limit your work to 1,000 words). This can be done in bullet-point format or you may use various linking words to connect the four paragraphs together. The purpose of this exercise is to train your ability to comprehend and summarise the gist of an academic text in your own words with proper referencing.
