If I talked about by myself the truth is that I am a very big game lover I have played lots of games in my life and some of them are very popular games like puzzles Tod, Zig - Zag run,Beach rally and many more.As I grew up and my interest increases for racing games like Need For Speed, temple run, Maze Runner. These kind of games I played a lot even I am playing some of these in present time. Because of my interest towards the games choose this subject Game Development Fundamentals. As per the course requirement I have to design a game at the end of the semester so because of my interest I decide to develop a racing game for my assignment and created a game as for the name of ‘City Runner’ as we can judge that it is a adventure-run game. This game is basically depend or revolve the bike rider who is driving the bike on different platforms or we can say it on different backgrounds . There is a thing what we called ‘GENERE ’ which simply describes the behaviour of the game like it is puzzling, action, racing etc and my game is holding a plat-former genre. As I discussed in previous paragraph that I have played lots of games but most of them are platform and racing games another reason behind creating this platform game is that I love racing games and many of researches show that platforms and other racing games are holding the number one spot in the gaming world because the present generation love racing and quick results this help me to gain more users all over the world. Another fact is that my is bit similar to old popular games temple run and subway suffer etc but having much better graphics, new graphics etc. This type genre basically having a qualities like centred on the player’s avatar, moreover emphasis good reflexes and coordination of the player this king genre also consists of games like shooter, open world sandbox. If I talked about the main features or the highlighting features of the game there are very different kind of weathers likes cloudy, rainy, windy, summer, snowy etc this gives a realistic look to the game and other thing is that we can upgrade our avatar, bikes and many more things. Other interesting fact of the game is that this game is endless as from the driving aspect but there is a time limit that make the game to an end and after the ending of the one session there is menu popped up that gives the statics of the achievement that who much km did you drive, what amount of the money you have earned. Here I am explaining some main pictures from my game. In these below images we can see that different types of background are there even in my I am designing similar to these but there are must be buildings and jungle instead of mountains and plain area. Other thing is that there are also some different types of weather like cloudy, snowy etc. If I speak about these pictures we can see that we can modify the bike and can see acheivement after every ride and this function will can be seen in my game. Story and/or Setting The one of the most important thing that must be in mind while designing the game is the story of the game. As we all know that the if movies or any other thing that is going to be published publicly and want to have good business then they must have good story. Another fact is that good game is combination or a mixture of four different parts : Story, Aesthetics, Mechanism and technology. As I explained story is very important. Story of my is bit different as compared to the other ones. My game is based on driver, basically the driver is the dealer which have to deliver different kind of things like medicine, food and many products. He have many contracts there are two ways end the contract first is to deliver the product in time other if the time’s up then the driver dies. Other important function or backbone of the game Is setting where we can do many things like change the given things that helps sellers to do more business other things like it is essential to the fantasy element.Places the key character into a setting Atmosphere.To help sell & market the game.Pure entertainment. There are interesting things in my game like when you opened the gave there are first pop up where we login to start play the carrier and then you have to select the avatar and next option is to select the bike and then the road the background of the racing track and then we start the race. The game is in 3D because if you want to attract more and more customers or users it must look different and updated.world dimension basically consists of many different parts and in my game is helps me a lot to make it a good game. In upcoming paragraph I will explain it functions according to my gave. 1. Physical :- it simply tells us the in which dimension game is designed, as I previously my game is three dimensional. 2. Temporal :- it describes the how maker or user play with time and how we can make difference between real life and and game world as I designed different speed meter and time clock for the delivery. 3. Environmental:- this function or element describes the look of the game and different sounds like horns and voices takes place. 4. Emotional:- it will describes the relation between the user of different age groups and the game like teen enjoyed colors and on the other hand elder more formal look. That’s why I provide modification in my game. 5. Ethical :- this department take care of the ethical values of the society like what impact will this game make on the society. Because the game world has many rules because most of the population plays game and if the game are more aggressive and fighting then these will depict the bad effect on the environment. And many of the games are not launched in the market because of there violence full environment that’s why I design a normal game. Characters Characters are the main role of the game, whole game is designed around these characters. Even my whole game depend upon my character as my avatar is driver who has contract to deliver the product. Every game has character and different names and physique even in my game I have many character and I can give name, physique and hair styles, clothes them of my choice. The name of my avatar is john wick, I give this to my hero because I saw I movie in which hero is delivery guy, I liked that character because he is very hard working and very good looking. As we can see that we can choose the bike of our choice and in my this option is given more option and there is great range of modification. Everything about the bike like its cost, color, top speed and also the model and the engine power of the bike is also given for the user to select them easily. Mechanism Space This diversion city rider will have a ceaseless space which implies the character of my amusement can ride the bicycle anyplace with specifically territories of the 3-dimensional board.
