Introduction
This concept of service system application is going to be applied in this presentation for the company Tesco. The strength and weakness of the company's service system will be analyzed here. Additionally there will be a comparative analysis of the service system along the industries.
Service System Application
The service process defines the way a service is being delivered to the customers. The needs and wants of the customers get satisfied through configuration of technologies and the networks, which have been built by the company for meeting and fulfilling the demands of the customers. The world’s economy is the largest service system (Xu, Liu, Guo, Sinha & Akkiraju, 2017). Mostly the service systems are non-coercive and non-intrusive in nature where people, tools, computer programs within an organization with a business process and a goal is delivered to the customers.
Service systems can consist of a single person worth proper tools for trading who is known as an entrepreneur or it can be a portion of the government agencies or it can even be a multinational company. There can be walk in services as well as the phone and email services are provided to the people. Clarifying their queries and for making their life easier regarding complaints or by providing various offers through email.
Customer Service System of Tesco
The customer care services provided by Tesco is just beyond the delivery of finding out the route of various problems, but also the team cooperates with each other to provide an effective friendly support system while the sensitivity in the tone of their conversation is maintained properly.
They have also introduced the CRM technology for enhancing their customer services where people are buying things from their stores as well as their websites. The software has been adopted in Tesco call centers where the electronic division is being supported. The main purpose of their customer service is to provide information and advice on various products and services and handling the complaints and solving the queries of their customers (Shaban, 2016).
