Concept of Leadership
Leadership is the art of encouraging as well as empowering the employees or a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. In every organisation, there are leaders of quality who direct their staffs to perform their effective roles in order to achieve the goal and targets and take the business strategies, which aim towards the peak of the success. Leaders in term of organisational context, performs the primary goal of shaping the environment for the people who think, feel and work in an organisation. As mentioned by Veliu et al. (2017), they create an environment of energy and encourage enthusiasm to keep the people working in the organisation active and motivated. As stated by de Araujo et al. (2021), to lead in the context, the leaders work with the people, understand their capacity and try to improve the gapping areas whenever needed.
Model of Leadership Practice
Leadership by the term it means, it is the ability to get the extraordinary things from the ordinary peoples. Its main motto is to produce more leaders not more followers. There are several models of leadership practices, which includes the authentic leadership, the situational, servant, holistic and charismatic leadership. An authentic leader is one who maintain the authenticity and values therefore act and lead the team accordingly.
As mentioned by Veliu et al. (2017), it consists of four valid construct, which are self-awareness, balanced processing, rational transparency and internalised moral perspectives. This particular model of leadership practice therefore, demonstrate a sense of genuine behaviour, which increases the leader’s credibility, which earns the trust of their followers. The situational model of leadership practice emphasised on adjustment to the level of employee readiness to accomplish certain task, which depends on the willingness and the capability of the employees.
