Introduction
This assignment conducted with a brief discussion that executes Erik Erikson’s theory to understand different aspects that lead to build up an identity of a person or a group of person. Identity is the term that is associated with qualities. Physical appearance, personality and beliefs of a person or a group of persons are the terms of psychological assessment. The categorization of identity can be two way such as positive or negative. However, Erik Erikson refers a physiological theory to support the term identity where he stated that ego is the psychological terms that help a person to be positive and it helps them to approach mastering attitudes, skills and ideas for his personality development (Tatum, 2000). In these assignment social, cultural and historical grounds has been under the consideration that plays a significant role to build up an identity for a person according to Erik Erikson’s theory.
