Project: Risk Management Plan
Project Title: Building of 3 story 4500 Square feet building that can hold 60-80 cars, in rural country of west virgina
1.Title: The aim of this project is to build 3 story 4500 Square feet building that can hold 60-80 cars, in rural country of west virgina.
2.Introduction:
In this developing age, the number of automobiles is increasing exponentially across the globe. For the safety of their automobile and their own ease everyone wants to park it in their close
proximity. But, due to the presence of large number of vehicles, getting a suitable parking space close to the desired destination is a genuine crucial issue of this time. Therefore, lots of projects are designed for constructing the suitable parking space with large vehicle storage capacity. This project also aims to build 3 story 4500 Square feet building that can hold 60-80 cars, in rural country of west virgina. However, the designing of a suitable parking space is a very complex and challenging task. The parking facility must be designed in such a way that it can provide safe and efficient passage for the automobiles and safe passage for driver and passengers as well to enter and exit from the parking area. Along with this, automotive, engineering and traffic issues relative to the desired site or location must also be considered. Since, the designing process deals with so many aspects, lots of professionals have to be integrated together to get the desired design and appropriate solution of all the associated task. Involvement of so many people and completion of so many tasks create the scope of various risks and therefore it’s essential to have an appropriate risk management plan. In this project therefore, the strategy for building a car parking building in rural country of west virgina with a capacity of storing 60-80 cars, major risk associated with this project and the suitable risk management plan is discussed.
3.Project Description:
Requirement of a suitable parking space is not only an urban fabric but it’s important for the rural regions as well for ease and comfort of the residents. Planning for designing a suitable parking facility is a very complex task and it requires the collaboration of various professionals to achieve the successful outcome as reported by Rauzana et al 2022 [1]. Planning for the designing of parking space in the destined environment must be firstly start with the selection and consideration of a suitable site. Once the suitable site is selected then proper building design is planned to address the movement and storage of cars in appropriate ways. For this, many experienced architects, engineers, and planners put together their thoughts and visions for constructing the complex, aesthetic, and consolidative parking structures.
In this current project, for building a 3 story 4500 Square feet car parking building in rural country of west virgina, with a storage capacity of holding 60-80 cars, the major functional necessities that will be considered specifically are the complex spatial requirements of the automobile and the driver. The parking geometries will be planned in relation to the size and height of the available automobiles, their turning radius and the statistical quantity of the automobiles. Proper design configurations for the ramp will also be planned to ensure the ease of driver and the passengers. For planning the hassle-free entrances and exits of the parking area, the streets surrounding the car parking building and the existing traffic flow of that location will also be taken into consideration as they are the very crucial part for the smooth functioning of the designed parking. Along with this, the requirements of equipments and materials needed for designing the entry booths and the parking area office will also be determined and planned properly. To achieve these inputs, firstly the project engineers choose a proper construction site, then the project manager discussed with the local authorities and get all the needed legal sanctions and permissions. The selection of optimum site must be based on the necessity of residents of that area, so that they get a close proximity parking area for them and gets comfortable parking within their walking distance. Once all the legal issues sorted, then the project designers work within the local codes and made strategies to meet the essential requirements as planned. They have to design the plan for construction of a three-storey building, its building materials, needed equipments, hardwares, proper lighting facility, electricity supplies, ventilation systems, floors, mop-ink, back-up power system, working space for staff like managers, data-entry operators, cashiers etc, office area and entry booths. And after the finalization of these designs and requirements project managers have to check the ownership issues, overall incurring cost, the available budget and possible source of revenues. They also have to include the salary of staff and workers for...
