Audience Analysis Discussion

Working to connect your own values to those of our school - What are the top three values you are thinking about using for your Value Speech? Which of those values relates to those of our school?

Write a discussion post about your three top value choices that link to those of CCC and how each of them relates to a story. You’ll write a brief summary of (approximately 75 words each) a story for each value you select.

For instance, if one of your values is Integrity then you’ll write something like

Value 1 – Integrity. This value reminds me of a time…

Then you’ll simply repeat the process for the other two choices.

Respond to at least 3 classmates and tell them which of their stories you liked bestand why.

Responses to classmates should be approximately 5-6 sentences.

The overall purpose is to get started on our Value Speech assignment, but also to gather some preliminary information from our audience on the subject matter -- an important piece to audience analysis.

This is an opportunity to be on both sides of the analysis and feedback loops. Remember that as much as you'd appreciate helpful feedback you'll want to be sure and provide the same.
