Business Environment-

This assignment is based on a verifiable reflection
model and relevant aspects of the topics covered; you are required to write a
1000-word reflection on what motivated you to undertake your current course of
study (postgraduate program-

MBA in Information Systems
) at Torrens University, by
adopting an established reflective model (the Gibbs Reflective Cycle 1988)

This is a 1000-word assignment, make sure your word
count doesn’t exceed the limit. The reference and citation need to be APA 7th

Edition

I will be adding, one of my friend’s past assignment
draft notes for your reference, it is only for reading and also to have, ideas
on how did he approach the question. Make sure that the Document is only for
reading. Do not (copy-paste, paraphrase, or summaries) anything from this
document.

I
also
have added
an Introduction about me and why I do
want to do MBA in Information Systems from Torrens. You could use these notes to
impersonate me (for completing the assignment). This Introduction is just an outline
of me to understand who I am, and what I do, what I feel, but you have to
answer the question according to the degree it’s required. Please don’t take
them for granted.

Read
the Assignment brief and marking outline before beginning the assignment. Please
don’t plagiarise, if took an idea from different authors you need to give
credit, by providing APA 7th
edition referencing and its citation.
You also have to provide academic books and journals as sources and evidence to
support your arguments and claims.

Introduction
    The busine
ss environment is the sum of all internal and external elements, both positive and negative, that have an impact on a corporation. Microenvironment and microenvironment are the two main categories into which the environment may be separated. It is possible to employ PESTLE and SWOT analyses to comprehend the business environment. Reflective practice is the ability to look back on your actions or engage in self-reflection to identify potential improvements or potential outcomes. The economic principle is the overarching rule or law that protects the management of our day-to-day finances. In this reflective report, I discuss the significance of pursuing and its advantages for my enhanced learning and professional development using the Gibbs reflective model (Adeani et al, 2020). There is now a thorough debate about Gibbs' reflective model.

Description
My prior experience and my interactions with various situations have influenced my decision to enroll in a Torrens University MBA program. I knew I should continue my education once I started my business administration bachelor's degree at that specific time. Taking the MBA course provides a methodical and improved understanding of theoretical information and practical skills for a more professional and successful academic career. This inspired me to enroll in a master's program in business administration (Erasmus, 2012, p.7). In my undergraduate program, I saw a blog post by Gibbs (Gibbs, 1988, p. 4) that informed me of the value of an MBA in the current COVID-19 epidemic. I have seen several individuals at this time who have lost their employment due to their lesser academic levels; only managers and higher-level authorities can maintain their positions during these trying times. This circumstance encourages me to pursue a full-time MBA rather than full-time employment.
Feelings
As I previously stated, I had already decided to pursue a higher level of education throughout my undergraduate career, so I was open to a variety of alternatives (Gibbs, 1988, p.3). Through reading specialized publications and papers I have discovered the value of an MBA through numerous publications about developing professionally and pursuing both a successful professional and academic career (Lewis, 2013, p6). I came away from this situation with two different viewpoints. I had mixed feelings about starting my MBA program; on the other hand, I had a bad feeling about it (Reynolds & Vince, 2016, p6). The positive emotions that were connected to my choice to get an MBA are –
· MBA offers one of the highest salaries and packages on the job market.
· After completing my MBA, I also have an option for starting my own company.
· MBA at Torrens University will further help me to develop a flexible and advanced level of management skills.
· In between pursuing the course of MBA, I have analyzed that MBA is a challenging but not difficult course to graduate.
