The assessment of self-responsibility in healthcare setting is important as the care users’ health and safety relies upon the proper role-playing of care staffs, which generate positive outlook of the organisation and invest a lot of confidence in the minds of the care users. In order to identify the role a care staffs have to play, as mentioned by Poore, Dawson, Dunbar and Parrish (2019), the person must take time to read the job description, the legal responsibilities and the exclusive tasks that the job requires formally at the time of services as a part of the organisational taskforce. In order to understand the role expected from me, I would seek the help of the seniors in the organisation, who would make me abide the legal norms of healthcare service roles. Irrespective of the role I am asked to play at the healthcare organisation, I would keep in mind the basic rights of care users, the norms for confidentiality of data and the global medical standard abidance for best knowledge gathering for self.

In the community service industry some of these ethical responsibilities will be quite specific and they can be more stringent than those applicable to other industries. Ethical responsibilities associated with any profession make the role played by the employees safer, more responsible and legally optimised to satisfactory levels. The degree of ethical rigidity for each professional type, tend to be different from one another, however the basic purpose of ethical abidance aims at maintaining, improving and aligning the ethical aspects with the nature of the service provided and the practices involved. Being a part of a healthcare organisation, it is evident that there are certain ethical norms included in the job role, such as the consideration of respect, preference, quality, safety and hygiene. In community services, the employees involved in the industry had to offer their services directly to the care users, therefore, the degree of abidance of ethical norms tend to be more rigid than the usual industry standards.

Ethical responsibility is a moral duty. Every organisation is bound with ethical duty. Management and employees, all have ethical roles to play towards their care seeker. Ethical responsibility is a duty of organisation to follow the principles set by the organisation. There are certain steps taken by organisation to maintain their ethics. The first duty is to have total transparency in work. The medication and treatment provided by the care provider must ensure quality service. Management must give clear idea of taxes and fees taken to them for the therapy. It is duty of organisation to provide complete information about the case of the care seeker to their family and relatives. Organisation, which follows ethics, tends to develop trustworthy relationship with care seekers and internally with staff.

Organisations have different stakeholders, who play exclusive roles in organisational settings and each type of stakeholders develop their own interest types, preferences and priorities. It is found that while the shareholders of the company focus on long-term goals and business growth, the lower level employees and customers evaluate the potential of the organisational performance in terms of their personalised preferences, which includes short-term monetary and quality service or product based aspects. The interests, as described by Benites-Lazaro and Mello-Thery (2019), due to the nature of their diverse courses, base their foundations on different interests, which being under the same organisation often come in contradictory norms with one another, which is termed as conflict of interest. It is also seen that the shareholders often get in conflicting interest terms with their management and stakeholders, which undermines the profitability and performance of the organisation and therefore, needs to be resolved properly.
As example it is seen that while the shareholders of the company aims at expanding their business and offer existing products to new markets, the customers expect new products in their existing market, while the employees expect new and expensive products introduction in the markets so that they can get higher wages. Conflict of interest is a situation arises when there is difference in choices or aim between different parties can be seen. Conflict is raised when every parties work in direction of their personal interest, which may impact the other party. Resistance between the people or group helps in identifying the conflict.
When conflict of interest is seen then you should listen to both the parties. Try to bring out the reason of conflict between the party. Once the reason is known, try to give common aim to both the parties. I will try to team up the parties and give them goal benefitted to both. This will resolve the conflict.
An example of a conflict or interest is when two staff members are constantly at conflict then give them a project to work on. This will help in developing a good relationship, which itself clear the existing conflict between them.

List at least 10 procedural areas - situations where work practices could be improved to meet legal and ethical responsibilities - that might come under consideration when an organisation is looking at improvement s opportunities.
1.    Firstly, in case of Radiology, the procedural area can be improved by installing updated and modern instrument that improve quality, accuracy and efficiency significantly. In case of Radiology the procedural areas, the norms of Ultrasonography and Electrocardiogram can also be improved by regular update of devices and the used software for the conduction of the process.
2.    Secondly, in case of Surgery, the procedural areas can be improved by abiding the hygiene of the place that reduces the chances of germ and infection spreading.
3.    Thirdly, the areas where Pathological activities are conducted must be improved in terms in terms of the methods used for assessing the test samples.
4.    Fourthly, in case of Histology, the use of better instruments and double-checking of the test results would probably improve the work practices.
5.    However, it has to be considered that the abidance of the healthcare standards, including that of the hygiene and safety must be abided.

2. Reporting of the incidence and accidents to the authorities must be done (Silverston, 2019).
3. Patients report and treatments is highly confidential thing, which must be maintained and records of the patient must not be revealed for the benefit of the organisation.
4. There must be implementation of strong rules and strict action must be taken by authorities on breach of patient-doctor confidentiality.
5. Mandatory reporting of children and elderly reports must be taken by the authorities so that service of quality must be high (Silverston, 2019).
6. Discrimination and negligence of any form must be reported and strict action must be taken against the guilty person.
7. Boundaries must be set so that every staff member knows their duties and scope of role.

9. Consent must be taken from the family or the patients before using any new medication.
