These tasks have been designed to help you demonstrate the skills and knowledge that you have learnt during your course. Assessment Requirements Performance Evidence The candidate must show evidence of the ability to complete tasks outlined in elements and performance criteria of this unit, manage tasks and manage contingencies in the context of the job role. There must be demonstrated evidence that the candidate has:  developed, implemented and evaluated at least 1 community sector service program Knowledge Evidence The candidate must be able to demonstrate essential knowledge required to effectively complete tasks outlined in elements and performance criteria of this unit, manage tasks and manage contingencies in the context of the work role. The following conditions must be met for this unit:  use of suitable facilities, equipment and resources, including organisation policies and procedures  modelling typical workplace conditions and contingencies, including interactions with users of the service and co-workers from a range of diverse backgrounds Assessors must satisfy the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015/AQTF mandatory competency requirements for assessors. You are required to complete them all. Your trainer /assessor will advise when assessments are due. You may use various sources of learning materials including text books, student guide, other documents and the internet. For you to be assessed as competent, you must successfully complete two assessment tasks:  Assessment Task 1: Knowledge questions – You must correctly answer all questions.  Assessment Task 2: Project – You are to develop and implement a service program for a community organisation. You will then monitor and evaluate the program. What do I need to complete this assessment task?  Access to Student Guide, Reference Text Books, and other learning materials  Access to the computer and the internet if you prefer to submit printed copy If I get something wrong, what do I need to do?  Consult with your trainer /assessor if your answers are marked unsatisfactorily and plan to resubmit as per their feedback – either in writing or verbally.
