Accuracy and precision:
Suppose a length of a rod is 7 cm, and we measure it as 6.95 cm then our measurement is very close to actual correct value. This is called accuracy.
Instead when we measure 5 times say, we get 6, 6.1, 5.9, 5.95 and 6.15 we find our readings are close to each other though far from the accurate value.
In this case we say there is precision.
Accuracy represents the closeness of measured value to actual specific value while precision deals with the closeness of measurements done to each other.
