Abstract
COVID 19 already created pro
blems for business organizations and different economics. The government and business leaders are using different strategies for managing the issues related to the spread of the virus. Social distancing can be called as the most effective strategy for managing the challenges in a productive way. In this research paper, we are analysing the major challenges and issues in conducting the 2020 Summer Olympics due to the pandemic.
a) Discuss three implications/challenges for its future planning in the wake of the current pandemic and the need for social distancing.
For conducting the Olympics, the organizers have to spend time for detailed planning and they also have to develop effective strategies for reducing the problem related to the spread of the virus.
Three Challenges for 2020 Summer Olympics
1. Political and human rights issues
We know the for developing infrastructure and facilities for the summer Olympics the organizers required more number of skilled and unskilled employees. Human rights agencies argued that the organizers are not providing any security equipment to the workers. As per the Building and Wood Workers' International (2018), the organizers are following dangerous patterns of overwork, and most of the employees are not satisfied with the working conditions and allowance provided by the committee (Tammari 2020, p.45).
2. Environment, health and safety concerns
