Choose one of your classmates’ posts (see attached post that I want you to use for this assignment). Now collect your OWN data and find your own confidence interval and compare. If, for example, your point estimate is less than your classmate’s point estimate, can you be sure or confident that the corresponding parameter is less? Why or why not, and what could you do to try to figure it out? What impact do the bounds of the intervals have?

I decided to use how much time I spent in my car a week. I calculated the time it takes me in the morning to drop my son off to school, from my son school to work, from work to my school, and from school to my house. I live in Maryland and drop my son off in Virginia; it takes me about 20 minutes in the morning to drop him off considering I’m going against traffic. Heading to work from my son school it takes 45-50 minutes because I’m driving back into Maryland during rush hours. In the afternoon when I pick up my son it takes 45-50 minutes and the commute back to my home takes 25-30 minutes. My commute to school (Maryland to Alexandria) in the evening takes 50 minutes to an hour due to rush hour and my way back home from school takes 25 minutes. I work three days a week and those three days and I have class twice a week. In the table below I made the calculation whole numbers to make it easier on finding the average number.                                                                   Hours on the road Mean: 39.28                                                                                        Standard Deviation: 114.91 At a 95% confidence level it would be 0.8267 Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Home to Son school 30 minutes 30 minutes 20 minutes Son school to work 40 minutes 40 minutes 50 minutes Work to my classes 30 minutes 30 minutes 50 minutes Son school to Home 50 minutes 50 minutes 30 minutes Home to my class 50 min – 1hr 50 min – 1hr I decided to use how much time I spent in my car a week.
