Hello Marcus, I read your post on Driving the Change and you made very valid point is the discussion. Throughout my experience in the workforce I found out that no matter where you work, chances are your organization has overarching evolutionary goals it is working to meet. Don’t just wait to be told what to do — look at those goals and figure out what you can do as an individual employee to support them. For instance, if your company just announced that it is acquiring another to strengthen its product line, one of your individual priorities might be to learn more about that company, its customers, and what it does. You could even ask your manager to present your ideas on how these findings will impact your team.

Marcus,
Thanks for your great post. Change can have a positive or negative impact in organizations today. Some people are resistant to change while others are more amenable to it.

What leadership changes took place in your organization?

Marcus Mccall Thursday Dec 8 at 12:43pm Introduction Change is one of the inevitable things in the world, and it is the question of 'when' rather than 'if' about the occurrence of the change. Business organizations face change processes once or multiple times in their business conduct. The following report will shed light on business companies' change procedures and management. Change Management Change management can be defined as a systematic approach or structure to deal with the transformations and transitions of a business organization’s goals, objectives, and processes or technologies. The primary purpose of change management is to help people adapt to the forthcoming change(Cronshaw & McCulloch, 2008). The other goals of change management are to assist the business companies in implementing strategies to ‘effect change’ and ‘control change.’ Change management applies its concepts and tools to specific areas of business. Change management also deals with several other things, such as project and cost change management. The change management concept runs with the help of several tools like scope, schedule, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement. Standard change process most organizations face From this week's lecture and readings, it can be safely said that most business organizations face change processes. Most business organizations' standard change initiatives align environmental change with the marketplace. Ecological change is inevitable, and in the present day, it is happening at regular intervals. Hence, dealing with ecological modifications has become a headache for business companies. Along with the environmental changes, there might come other potential change processes in the form of cultural change, product change, change of vision, and leadership change(Johnson, 2021). Business organizations need to deal with those changes whenever they come for the firm’s overall success and to gain sustainable growth. There might be several front-line issues when dealing with the change process for environmental change; there might arise some difficulties for the companies as they will need to bear a significant increase in their overall costs to maintain measures taken to tackle the environmental change. Supportive arguments The environmental change management for the companies may come with several frontline issues, such as an increase in the overall cost(Fox et al., 2019). According to various surveys, it has been obtained that companies that have implemented environmental change measures had to up their overall budget by a significant percentage. Conclusion It can be concluded from the above project that change is the only inevitable thing in the world, and business companies have to adapt to change management policies for success and sustainable growth. The project evolved around the discussion about joint change initiatives faced by the companies and some issues facilitating the change. Finally, a supportive argument has also been given to evaluate the above debate critically. References: Cronshaw, S., & McCulloch, A. (2008).
