The hotel is able to upgrade itself by bringing in vast wealth of knowledge, skills and vibrant contacts as well
as aiming the group business for the hotel partners. The hotel is able to establish concrete relationships with the tour operators of various countries along with the travelling agents across several nations. Trinity Hotel is able to edifice effective rapport with various tour operating organizations and are thus able to meet the accommodation requirements of visitors, tourists and students in their five-star resort. There have been constant interactions by Trinity Hotel with various agents, event managers and tour operators for visiting the trade shows, office visits, workshops, for organizing show rounds via email and phone (Trinity Hotel Groups, 2021).
During the advent of coronavirus pandemic, Trinity Hotel adhered to the guidance and procedures which were prescribed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the Irish Health Services Executive (HSE). Trinity Hotel thinks that the safety, security, well-being and health of the community which is essential for the growth of their business and the nation. They have trained all their staffs for adhering to the health, hygiene and safety standards as per the WHO. They adhere to the guidelines prescribed by Failte Ireland which is the national tourism body and is recommended by the Government of Ireland. In this paper we will discuss on the employee life cycle followed in Trinity Hotel, United Kingdom. Further we will consider the labour and employee market along with the employees who have been on long term furlong due to covid-19 crisis and will be returning to work for rebuilding the hotel workforce. Finally, we will discuss on the PESTLE analysis of Trinity Hotel while illustrating the fundamental pillars for the personal resourcing and development of the organization.
Analysis
Employee lifecycle is the process which beings with organization establishing effective relationship with the employees from planning with respect to hiring the suitable person for the correct job and ends with the employee separation (Change Factory, 2014). The employee lifecycle will be as follows:
According to a study it is found that the employee turnover rate in the hotel industry is approximately 73% and around 3/4th of the employees working in hospitality industry leaves due to which they are bound to find new and suitable workers with relevant skills, experience and knowledge. It was during the covid-19 situations when the spending by the hospitality industry has been lower compared to the consumer spending as on May 2021. Further, during this period the suppliers for food and drinks were paid half amount than paid during the pre-pandemic situations. Gradually the business confidence enhanced in the hospitality sector only from May 2021 but remained under the levels of other sectors. There was an increase in the number of jobs observed post the pandemic situation in the hospitality sector compared to the pre-pandemic situation in June 2021. But, the number of employees was lower by 11% compared to February 2020 (Lahari Ramuni, 2021).
The employee life cycle of Trinity Group covers the relationship between the employer and employee and consists of seven stages which are as follows:
1. Attracting the potential employees: This is done by filling the application form by the candidate based on brand of the hotel. The employees also try to gain information from various sources about Trinity Hotel.
