Ethical motivation is a power that directly energies a human being to act ethically for an organization maintaining the moral decorum. Gathering every kind of knowledge in very essential for every individual as gaining knowledge means to earn the power, through which we can even control the potency of nature and thereby, use those powers, according to our needs as well as benefits.
Impact of Fairness and Equity on Decision-Making
Fairness
We should take any kind of decision being unbiased and do full justice to it. Taking a decision fairly means to take the decision equally for all the employees present in an organization. We should first understand the depth of the decision taken by any authority of an organization as it is always taken for the betterment of the organization. However, still all the employees of an organization should be handled fairly to motivate them in their work and build a strong relationship of trust for future perspectives. As criticized by Gossett (2017), unfair treatment can misguide the individual, demotivate and discourage them and further leading to a destructive end.
Equity
Equity is that particular quality that should be present in all decision-makers as it signifies to be fair and impartial towards their employees. As stated by Clerckx et al. (2018), a decision- maker should treat all the employees equally and freedom should be given to them to suggest their opinions in order to produce and arrange creative decisions systematically. Equity brings confidence within the employees, which thereby energizes them to work more skillfully and effectively. Therefore, a decision-maker of any organization should be very careful in handling this quality as impartial and biased oriented decisions can affect their institutions reputation.
