DIET ANALYSIS PROJECT “TERM PAPER” INSTRUCTIONS (50 Points)
The goal of this project is to design a before-after research design case study. A before-and-after case study describes a single example of a phenomenon or experience involving an individual, group, institutional, or social responses before and after an event of interest. Completion of a before-and-after case study could do some or all of the following: deepen the understanding of aspects of the before period of the case study; identify the pivotal event(s); and clarify the changes in the after period. Thus, in this research study you are the case study and you will be comparing your 1st diet “fitday.com” website data report(Baseline/before data) results to your 2nd diet “fitday.com” website data report results (after manipulation data).
FORMAT TO BE FOLLOWED:
The term paper should be at least 2 pages, double spaced, 12 point font, times new roman. 0.5 inch margins all around the page and your name on it. The term paper should be submitted via the assignment linkNO EXCEPTIONS.
Your final term paper should include the following sections clearly labeled (no exceptions, points will be deducted for not labeling sections as instructed):
TITLE (2 points):that is descriptive of what you are studying
INTRODUCTION (10 points):Describe your proposed project.
METHODS AND MATERIALS (10 points):What you will be looking at and how you will do it. (Example: 3 day food record to find baseline subject data…).
ANALYSIS (10 points):Describe your research and analyze the data.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS (15 points):What did you learn from your study? What would you do differently next time? What else could you have included in the study? How could the subject improve?
