In your Learning Resources for this week, you read about health policies and how you might advocate either for or against these policies. In this Discussion, you will choose a policy and locate a program that was designed to address it. Then, you will describe the populations that are affected both positively and negatively by the policy and discuss some changes to the policy that might benefit those affected. Finally, you will consider how the policy change and program align with Walden’s mission of social change.

select a health-related policy that you feel should be changed.


Consider how this policy might be changed in order to bring about a health-related behavioral and/or a cultural change.
