Expectations for Week 4 (DB and IP) and Week 5 IP (the assignments are associated)
Week 4 and 5:
1. Unit 4 - DB: You will draft an outline for your IP 4, which is connected to IP 5.
2. Unit 4 - IP: You will prepare a PowerPoint presentation on the topic presence of social media in business(i.e., platforms outlets, types of messaging and content, most common social media programs, which platform are the most effective, etc.). I suggest you read the full instructions on the Assignment Details.

An operational manual is a document by which an organization guides members and employees to perform their functions correctly and reasonably efficiently. It has standards procedures for conducting operations safety to produce goods and provide services.

Tasks for Unit 4 – DB
- Draft your outline with key elements of your project for Unit 5 IP. Read the PowerPoints from the Live Chats that I added on our Discussion Boards so far to learn the efficiency of specific procedures to use when creating a social media in your business, and factors to consider when maintaining a successful business website.
- Post your outline to be reviewed by your classmates.
- REPLY to at least one classmate with a substantive response. Refrain from writing only “good job.” Your feedback is essential for your classmates to use to improve their work.
How to Write a Draft in the Business Field
Think of a business project as a bit like a sales pitch, or a job interview on paper. You need to explain why those are the best strategies for a company and sell yourself or your ideas regarding the negotiation or business products.
A good project will outline the service you are offering and briefly explain how you will approach the task (i.e., the platforms you recommend and how they can be useful). It will also include a quote and or an estimate in terms of costs.
Be sure to write precise contents and guidelines. That way, readers (i.e., employees and a client, an investor, etc.) will know what they will learn from your material to make their decision on the importance of adequately crafting social media contents. It is crucial to deliver a comprehensive and relevant project containing useful information about what you selected to work.
In an outline, all is summarized! Write only topics and brief descriptions.
The discussion assignment for this week includes a review of the Key Assignment Outline completed by one of your classmates, as well as a substantial response to at least 1 other student.
Primary Task Response: Your first task is to post your own Key Assignment Outline to the discussion area so that other students are able to review your plan. Attach your document to the main discussion post, and include any notes that you feel are appropriate. The purpose of this assignment is to help improve the quality of the Key Assignment Draft that you will complete next week.
