Part 1 Your organisation has had to restructure to remain viable. This has meant over 70 employees have be retrenched and there are now only 220 left, all of the employees are angry and scared about their future with the organisation. Whilst the remaining employees have been assured that their positions are safe, they have little trust left in the organisations management and there is a great deal of behind the scenes talking and negativity which is further impacting on production and is showing in interactions with customers. You have been asked to lead this change by providing strategic leadership to calm the waters and get the organisation back on track. In order to do this, you will need to discuss each of the following 13 questions in an assignment. Each question should be answered in detail. 1) Outline the transformational and transactional leadership practices that you will apply during this process 2) What methods would be best utilised to ensure your communications with employees were empathetic to their situation and begin to build relationships with them? 3) How can you demonstrate your respect for the diversity of the employees?  4) How will you be able to manage your emotions and impulses when team members are very negative towards management (this includes you)?  5) How will you manage your work based relationships?  6) How will you ensure your judgement is on track and that you use your intelligence and common sense to make decisions and guide people through the change?  7) In order to achieve results from the strategic change, who could you consult as an expert?  8) What legislation and regulations could apply to this transformation in the organisation. Choose at least three (3) and discuss each one in relation to the change.  9) Discuss the methods you could use to cultivate, encourage and improve collaborative communication with employees? 10) What methods would you use to convey the organisations new direction? Write a short statement on what and how you might convey this message.  11) Discuss how you believe the role of leadership will impact the change process 12) Choose two people (this may be an example) and write a report outlining their capacity to contribute to the change process. Choose one positive and one negative example 13) Identify two possible issues you may come across during the change process and outline how you would manage these and what steps would be required to resolve the issues.  Part 2 You are required to research each of the 11 topic questions and write the answers to each questions. Answers have no word limit and should be detailed and complete. 1) Determine and discuss the legislative and regulatory context relevant to the organisation you work for. If you do not work for an organisation, use one you are familiar with. 2) Provide the mission, purpose and values of an organisation, and explain their importance. 3) Explain the objectives, plans and strategies of the organisation, and outline the planning approaches used to develop them. 4) Identify and describe three (3) different leadership styles. 5) Outline a personal development planning methodology. 6) List and describe three (3) techniques you could use to collect data when evaluating business opportunities. 7) Explain what a PEST analysis is and how it is used to conduct external environment scanning. 8) Explain what emotional intelligence is and how it can be used in the workplace to improve effectiveness 9) Explain the three (3) types of organisational transformation and discuss at least five (5) transformation strategies. 10) List and describe the six (6) stages in the stages of change model. 11) Explain how a change in customer or market conditions will be responded to through organisational design and building.

Leaders play an important role in motivating and supporting the other employees to work effectively to explore and develop new chances for organisation imp
rovement. As mentioned by Afsar et al. (2017), the transformational leadership creates positivity within the behaviour of the entrepreneur but transactional leadership creates a negativity within them when the psychological empowerment is in its peak.

As a leader, in order to bring my organisation back into right track, building up strong and trustworthy relationship with the employees is highly required. According to Cumberbatch (2019), firstly, a clear and constructive feedback should be provided to them and freedom should be given to them to express their opinion regarding organisation progressive achievement.

We should pay a respect for every differences and similarities within the employees’ whether are it in term of their religion, age, cultural background, gender, race or physical disabilities. As stated by Choi, Kim and Kang (2017), employee diversity should be effectively managed in order to proceed the growth and development of organisation successfully.

An organisation comprises of several employees who creates negative as well as positive environment. So therefore, these sorts of employees should be managed patiently and carefully without imposing any kind of negative vibes within them. As stated by Genc (2017), leaders should be calm and professional enough to deal with these types of situations without reacting much.

In order to maintain the work-based relationship we first need to understand the weaknesses and strength of the workplace and accordingly should manage a time to develop a stable relationship with the co-workers. As mentioned by Ambos, Fuchs and Zimmermann (2020) appreciation of the employees should be done at all level and supportive nature should be presented in order to motivate them.

Through the improvement in the work and collaborative nature of my employees, make me realise that my management is on the right track. By understanding their point of views, and using my presence of mind, while taking any decisions and guiding my employees, I was successful in redirecting my organisation into the previous energetic form.

In order to achieve success from the strategic change a genuine and talented adviser is required. As mentioned by Mathauer, Dale and Meessen (2017), the advisor should guide the employees, motivate them to use their innovative skills and should the support the leaders in every decision. The adviser should develop a communication strategy in this regard.

An organisation should be legalised and follow the basic regulations. As stated by Madende and Hayes (2020), an organisation should firstly maintain the primary legislation that comes in the form of Act and Bill and secondly the secondary legislation, which comes in form of several codes and conduct, rules and regulation, terms and conditions.
9.
Collaborative communication among the employees can be enhanced by appreciating the effort of the employees and a strong bridge of trust and cooperation should be built between the employees. According to Yue, Men and Ferguson (2019), the employees should be encouraged to think farther on their self-interest and boost up employee’s confidence.
10.
New policies and rules should be initiated to start a fresh chapter. New policies should involve generating friendly ambience for the employees, development of a trustworthy relationship between leader and worker.
