In 2015, Panera made a pledge that it will remove preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners for its food act and it was not noticed by many neither it was a surprise. However, when the claims were assessed two years later it was found that it stuck to its promise and made the necessary changes for eliminative artificial additives and ingredients from the process and the products they sell (BQ Prime, 2017).
The two-year journey was not easy as they identified around 96 ingredient under clean food act, which was a history, it in its corporate setup and helped Panera to learn important lessons in business. It removed 86% additives form its menu and targeted to reach 100% by 2016.
When a business decided to go on cleaning spree their menus were not the same as earlier neither the business practices. They trained employees from scratch and reboot the entire corporate culture, they educated customers about what clean eating is and...
