You will use the data set you created in Part II to write this paper.



You are coming up with your own clinical research topic of interest. You will need to find 5-7 scholarly nursing research articles within the past 5 years. Utilize these references as part of your research topic, and to build your hypotheses. After you have discussed the background of your topic you will need to come up with a series of research questions that will be answered by your data. These research questions will end up being the forefront for the following statistical tests:



Paired-Sample t-test


one-way ANOVA (or two-way ANOVA)


Correlation


Regression


Chi-Square




You will need to include effect sizes for the paired t-test and ANOVA test.This will require you to conduct some outside research as expected at the doctoral level to find out what an effect size is, what it means, and how to calculate in R (or by hand if you want to go down that rabbit hole).



You will need to include demographics from your "participants" in your study. Utilize descriptive statistics. Include how And where your participants were sampled in your research study. What sampling methodology was used? Discuss if the sampling methodology will bias the results in any way.



Include tables and figures, but do not be repetitive in your paper. Only present information once! Present meaningful graphs only. Make sure your headers for tables are properly formatted. Figure and tables should be left justified.


Tip: make sure you indent paragraphs with one tab click.


Paper should be double-space with no extra space added to paragraphs of the same style. 12 point Times New Roman(including running head and page number)


Including a conclusion with a centered, boldes header "Discussion" that summarizes the background and results of your study and what the clinical implications mean. This does not mean you repeat your results from the paper, rather discuss what your results mean to the population and how does this contribute to the literature. What are the next steps in future studies



This will be a formal APA research paper and will be graded at a doctoral level, assumed to be ready for publication. Therefore, review and edit before submitting it. Make sure it meets all APA requirements.



Attach all of your R Code as an Appendix AFTER the references page. The code should also have the results from the r code so I can ensure you presented the information correct. Highlight important results for me to cross reference in your paper. Do not cite or send the reader to the appendix Section within your paper. You should only direct readers to tables and figures.


Points will be deducted for improper APA formatting, poor writing style, grammar errors, Overly-repetitive information, spacing errors, improper headers, misuse of italics, improper presentation of statistical results, and overall statistical results.
