Dell is one of the leading companies in the IT sector especially in terms of variety of electronic
appliances that it offers. Its wide range of products consists of personal computers, laptops,
software and the services that assist in IT infrastructure. In the IT sector Dell is an eye-catchy
brand whose products are considered as one of the most trusted by the users. The company aims
at working hard towards achieving its goals to maintain its position in the market and to satisfy
its customer’s needs with effective and current technology.
The case study explains in detail about the company’s strategies
to achieve its goals of customer satisfaction. The report will
explain about the current market strategies of the company
and the new strategies that are being formulated to
grab the attention of more and more customers and maintain

of number one in the IT industry. It explains about the strategies that Dell is following in order to
reach its targeted audiences. The paper also discusses the benefits of using social media in usines
and how it helps to boost the revenues of the company and also helps in cost cutting of the
advertising and marketing expense. The major benefits of using social media is reaching out to a
large audience that includes people of all age groups. This will benefit the company as a whole in
the long run.

The leading brand of IT sector was established in the year 1984 by Michael Dell in Austin,
Texas. He was the person who initiated and implemented the idea of direct communication with
customers. Dell was the first company in the IT sector that came up with direct selling of the
computers to the buyers and then provides them with after sale services.
Its been 26 years, since Dell is offering its service to the people and
it is nothing less than creating a history in the industry.
Dell is an international brand which is offering its services in almost
every country and the people in each country are showing the
same trust and reliability factor everywhere.

by Dell. The presence in the market for more than 26 years
