Students are encouraged to engage with a Tourism and Hospitality business identified in the course or draw upon their own industry experience to uncover a key strategic management issue for a business in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. Some key areas of strategic management in the Tourism and Hospitality industry that may be of interest could include the following; competition, resources, competitive advantage, business level strategy, corporate level strategy, organisation structure and controls, globalisation, entrepreneurship, leadership and sustainability. The basis of this study is to identify selected markets as key strategic management issues for the tourism and hospitality industries in Australia. One of the strategic management issues of choice was competition, and the restaurant of choice was located in Attica, Melbourne
. In a highly competitive situation, it is difficult to attract customers into the service, so Attica must identify alternative models to manipulate the purchasing behavior of target marketing. This strategic management has direct impacts on market share, sales and profitability.

In this highly competitive world, one of the key principles that most entrepreneurs follow is strategic planning. This report attempts to explain the significance of the strategic planning in the development of management decisions, and to set the necessary goals for the development of strategic plans to achieve these goals, because the procedure of strategic planning is all about determine the direction of the enterprise, this paper is also trying to establish strategic planning and The relationship between competition. A Competition is an important factor that the every business has in daily life. To overcome this competitive aspect, business strategists want to know competitive environment as well as must also explain the impact of competition on the business. This report attempts to examine the key role that strategists play as part of the industry throughout the existing competitive process between firms. A strategist tries to explain several measurement methods, for example cross-elasticity, to know the needs of themselves or competing products. Through this interpretation, the business strategists can determine their dominant market pulse, which can be designed through the necessary Strategies that minimize losses that can occur in competition (Jukić, 2019). With e-commerce, globalization, and the other changes in business environment, nowadays business world becomes highly competitive, and organizations cannot survive without implementing appropriate competition strategies.
