1. Main Findings
The findings of the research paper published in NIHR Middlesex University pertain to the relationship of abuse and violence with the development of fear in the minds of the patients admitted to the mental care facility. The findings also include constructive belief and growth of confidence in the patients because at times, their reporting is not well noticed. In spite of complaining about the manipulative behaviour of the staff, they are not heard properly by the authorities. The development of fear is interlinked with the violence and ignorant behaviour of the authorities both. The study concludes that issues exist in the overall system, which not only involves the patients but also the staff members who could not intervene with effect when the intervention was needed. It was due to the lack of authority or the provision based control (NIHR, Middlesex University, 2021).
2. Author’s Approach
In order to carry out the research, the authors sued the variety of sources for ensuring the quality of findings. The evidence-based practices were engaged in qualitative study media such as the scoping of literature review as well as structured interviews with the participants of the study. These interviews were user controlled, which implies that the researchers were in position to select the candidates for the interview.

Their responses revealed how the structural approach is required and formally anticipated in the process of recognising fear as the main source of mental health issues. Some other implications include how the gaps in the psychological approach of the participants can be recognised through positive interventions.
4. Use of Present Research in Future Health and Social Care
The use of the present research is important in making healthcare assessment as well as setting up new norms of care to address the question of abuse of elderly. In health-care settings, opportunities for violence prevention and intervention arise on a regular basis.
