Methanol ( CH3OH )
Viscosity - 0.543 cp , molecular weight M =
32 g /mole
Density = 0.792 g /cm3
Molecular volume = V = 32 / 0.792 =40.40 cm3 /mole
Ethanol (C2H5OH )
Viscosity = cp = 1.084
Molecular wt = 46 g /mole
Density = 0.789 g/cm3
Molecular volume =V= 46 / 0.789 =58.31 cm3 /mole
Benzene (C6H6) –
Viscosity =cp =0.608
Density = 0.8765 g/cm3
Molecular wt =78 g /mole
Molecular volume = V = 78 /08765 = 89 cm3/Mole
N – hexane ( C6H14 )
Viscosity -cp = 0.3
Density = 0.6548 g /cm3
Molecular wt =86 g/mole
Molecular volume = V = 86 /0.6548 =131.34 cm3 /mole
So according to Wilke - Chang formula
Dab for carbon tetra chloride in ...
