Choose another qualitative data source, such as observation, questionnaire (open-ended or both open- and closed-ended), survey, narratives, archival documents, and review the required texts as well as other sources to learn more about that data source. Then find a dissertation or study that uses that data source within their study; try to find one that includes the instrument for the data source. For observations and archival documents, the study may include a checklist and/or rubric to use in conducting those procedures however the observation and documents collected are considered data sources. Provide an overview of the data source – what it is, what purposes it is used for, and how it’s appropriate for the dissertation study you found. Within your discussion include support from the literature.


Then discuss how the data source could be used for your own study. Develop an instrument (questionnaire, survey, checklist or rubric) to use as or for the data source. Refer to the selected dissertation or study and other sources to help in your development.

Effective leaders can be defined as a leader who can comprehend the skills along with the aptitude to comprehend their subordinates usually resulting in the positive behavior like retention, employee trust along with productivity.
Effectively managing an organization requires strong leaders that can formulate strategies and build teams. There are various style of leadership which have different impacts on the employees. By the virtue of my research, I plan to conduct an extensive analysis on cumulative impact of multiple leadership models on the employees under different organizational circumstances. Furthermore, deeply research about transactional, transformational as well as laissez faire styles of leadership on employee performance that construct strong organizational commitment. I would base my research more on questionnaire which are both open as well as closed. However, focus would more on the closed-ended surveys since I will be applying Delphi method which can bring paradigmatic as well as pragmatist angle to the study. One method is applying Delphi method to gather data for quantifiable research. This is because the Delphi can enable to obtain strong consensus which is highly likely by the experts to gather consensus based on the overall opinion of all the characteristics for the process from the detailed questionnaires.
