Context This assessment will help you really delve into the wedding planning industry. Each week you will research and write about topics directly related to various aspects of weddings: history, culture, organisation, client liaison, legalities, creativity, risks, processes and client expectation. The online discussion forum is an excellent place to see how your classmates deal with each week’s subject matter and find answers to common questions. This gives you a real opportunity to gain valuable perspective on wedding planning. Participating in the class discussion of the weekly review questions will really enhance your learning experience of communication, design and business skills as this assessment is a professional communication process. The forum introduces you to others who could serve as resources during the course, and perhaps facilitate employment in this quickly growing industry. This assessment will also directly help you with your next two assessments. Task Instructions To complete this assessment task you must consider the module questions below, conduct research, and write an original post that is fully referenced. You are to critique and make a constructive comment on at least one other person’s post in modules 1-5. This comment must be thorough, answering the prompt given for the response. No comment on another’s post is required for module 6. In each set of questions (below) you will see a prompt or suggestion (in italics) that will guide you as to how you might respond to at least one other student’s post. You will be assessed on how well you analyse concepts, provide useful information and write a succinct, well documented post using APA referencing format.
