Exhaust gas from a gas turbine facility (2×105 lb/h steam capacity) flows at a rate of 100000dscfm at 1200°F with a PM loading of 1.5gr/dsc fm. As part of PSD/Title V permitting process, a top-down BACT analysis is needed in which the TAC and cost per ton of PM removal ($/T) to be evaluated for four control options:

(i) MC,

(ii) VS,

(iii) ESPs, and (iv) FF. Calculate the $/T of PM removal by four control technologies using the TACs for four control options presented in Assume MC and VS have 90% and ESP and FF have 99.5% removal efficiencies, respectively.
