The dogs on leads were allowed only for walking but not for the running (walk 2018b). MS Walk and Fun Run is basically an event of health and wellbeing and for helping people living with multiple sclerosis (mswalk 2018). This program was organized to raise fund for people living with multiple sclerosis, and these funds would further help to make their lives happier and better. The focus of the program was to support and create awareness programs to let a mass of people to know about such condition and for providing necessary services from the fund raised.
Multiple Sclerosis is an effect in the central nervous system which affects the brain and spinal cord. It is the disease which occurs in the age between 20 and 40 years (norml.org 2017). However, the cure is yet not discovered, but the research is goin
g on for it. Thus, to help people with MS, this program was organised. For the event for Multiple Sclerosis, the MS Online Shop offered 25% off for eligible individuals who raised 25$ or more. There were certain terms and conditions for the getting the discount offered by the MS online shop like: the fund must be raised by 11:59 pm on the day of the event, i.e. Sunday, the individuals who have raised fund by 4th April or 23rd April will be contacted within 48 hours with the voucher etc. Moreover, the main objective behind this event have been to rasie funds for supporting people with multiple sclerosis and create awareness about such neurological condition. It can be stated that the event has been quite successful in achieving its aims and objectives. The event got good support from the people.

Such arrangement indicates a particular type of stability in the interaction amongst population and surroundings’ capacity. Furthermore, the below paragraphs make an effort to examine the positive as well as negative impacts associated with MS Walk and Run Fun by considering the principles of sustainability.

Triple Bottom Line Approach
According to Daly (2007), TBL (Triple bottom line) approach simply refers to an accounting framework that involves three different factors i.e. social, financial and lastly, environmental. Corporations today have adopted TBL approach in order to effectively evaluate their outcome in a broader respect for purpose of generating greater business worth. Furthermore, the below paragraphs make an effort to examine the positive as well as negative impacts associated with MS Walk and Run Fun by considering the TBL Approach.
· People, the social equity bottom line
The event is expected to have a positive socio-cultural impact as it helped in gathering a huge number of people, which resulted in awareness of the disease other people are facing and bringing all the people suffering from MS which helped them to get motivation and live their life more confidently. It also has a positive impact in the sense that it enabled people enjoy running and walking event with their friends and family members and also helped to collect people with MS to let them see other people who are suffering like them living and getting motivated by them. There were no such negative social impacts associated with the event

The rise in funds from people will be used to buy the equipment or services. This event was also supported by the MS Online Shop to raise fund by giving 25% off on products for raising 25$ or more. There were no such negative economic impacts associated with the event.
Recommendations
Despite the fact that, the MS Walk and Run Fun Event proved as being highly successful with respect to guests footfall, fund rasing, motivating people suffering from MS and creating awareness among people about MS disorder, even then the event involved few negative points that if managed effectively could have further added to the overall success of the event. Firstly, the MS Walk and Run Fun Event resulted in generation of huge amount of plastic, juices cans and food items. As a result, in such a condition it’s highly suggested that there should be effective waste disposal strategies in place that could such prevented such wastage to occur in the first place. A large number of people were attracted towards the event thus resulting in large amount of waste and pollution in the environment. People were also allowed to bring dogs to the walking event which caused overcrowding in the place of event. Thus, in such a situation proper provision should be made for the animals and the place for conducting the event should be chosen in such a manner that it could effectively accommodate everyone without being overcrowded.
Assessment Process Adopted
There is no doubt in the fact that the event proved to be great success. It was quite effective in raising funds, motivating people suffering from MS and lastly, spreading awreness about MS among people and the society in general. For determing the success of any event it is highly important to have in place effective strategies that can effectively help the organizers to determine whether the event has been a success or has failed to achive its set objectoves. In the same manner, to analyse the success or failure of the MS Walk and Run Fun Event, observational empirical evidence, and organiser’s reports were taken into consideration.
Observation on the day of the event helped a lot in collecting better data. To meet the aims and objectives of the event, the number of entries for the program was checked. The amount collected also helped to know about the fundraiser which was obtained by observing the number of participants in running and walking. The observation of some participants resulted in information passing to some people about the Multiple Sclerosis, and this helped a lot in evaluating whether event managed to achieve its aims and objectives.
Organizer’s report proved to be of value to assess the success and failure of the event (ecu 2017). The report prepared by the organiser offered an idea about the number of participants in the program and the total amount of fund collected from them for the people suffering from the MS. The report involved a list of people who came to the event which shows some people suffering from MS and people who were aware of the disease. This helped to evaluate the success or failure of the event in meeting its aims and objectives.
To find the impact on the host community, surveys were taken. A survey involved a list of questions which were asked to a certain number of people in the event they were participants or suffering from MS or the organisers themselves. This helped a lot in evaluating the impact of the event in their lives. Like for participants, were asked- how they felt about the program? What will they do for people suffering from MS? Similarly, for people suffering from MS were asked- what changes did this program bring in their lives? For the organisers- how many people contacted for fundraising and how people got awareness and got connected with them for getting vital information about therapists, social workers about to maintain their lives.
